Quakertown

Quakertown was a thriving Black community in Denton, Texas in the early 1900s. Shortly after WWI the community was relocated and systemically forgotten until the late 1980's when researchers began piecing together the story of what happened. This page will remember the veterans of Quakertown and veterans affected by the relocation and tell their stories.
